Meet your trainers
Sally specialises in helping you understand about your horse behaviour and psychology. She won the Welsh TREC championships in 2021 and also had the best PTV score. Horsemanship is a foundation education for both horses and their riders which is suitable for every horse and every discipline, it encompasses ground-skills as well as riding. It helps you to learn your horse’s psychology and read them so you can help prevent unwanted behaviours such as nervousness, spooking, rearing and refusing jumps.
Ride With Your Mind
Helen trained with Mary Wanless and is a BHS Accredited Coach, concentrating on balance and position which will help keep yourself and your horse sound, especially for competitive riders eventing and jumping Biomechanics is highly relevant to riding, where two biomechanical systems, each with their own normal way of functioning come together to influence each other. It helps you to understand how your seating position affects the horse during your ride and how to create a more seamless riding experience for you and your horse.
