I'm delighted to share with you our popular TREC Training Holiday, suitable for newcomers who want to learn more and have a go at map reading or experienced treccies wanting an pre season "holiday"

Arrive Friday after 5pm.
Saturday - PTV & MA Group sessions in large bark arena and play field (subject to weather & ground conditions) Map & POR training in classroom, practice copying routes, measuring distance, calculate speeds,map exercises, also ridden exercises using grids & bearings
Sunday - PTV & MA Group sessions in large bark arena and play field (subject to weather & ground conditions) Map & POR training in classroom, practice copying routes, measuring distance, calculate speeds,map exercises, also ridden exercises using grids & bearings
Monday - Explore the Welsh hills before departing for home
Ridden PTV & MA training will be in small groups (4-6 riders), minimum of 4 hours over the weekend.
Free time to explore the fabulous riding country and a portfolio of routes will be available.
We will also be taking full advantage of the Beacon Hill Crown Estate; Approx 6000 acre area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering plenty of opportunity to challenge and test your map reading skills.
Tack and dress informal but safe. Riders must wear hats of PAS015 or EN1384 or superior standard. All hats must have a properly fitted and fastened chinstrap which must be worn at all times when mounted. Body protectors are recommended. Neither the organisers nor the landowners can accept responsibility for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to any horse, other animal, rider, spectator or any other person or property. Attendees must have public liability insurance. The organisers reserve the right to cancel or refuse any entry.
